Integrated payment processing
AutoSSL's advanced Payment Server charges your customers for their annual AutoSSL subscriptions and then processes the payment. This Payment Server uses our innovative D-Commerce (Device-Commerce) technology to integrate payment with device configuration, so that the payment interface looks like part of the configuration interface. This provides a seamless experience for the customer, and prevents customer concerns about the integrity of this transaction, which could otherwise lead to abandoning it. With D-Commerce, a customer is likelier to continue the purchase with confidence.

For example:

  1. The Acme Webcam customer enters the required information in the configuration screen.

Note: This interface is fully secured and encrypted. Any customers who are concerned with entering their credit card information will have their fears dispelled by the closed SSL padlock.

Because the Payment Server runs in the cloud, it can also dynamically:

  • inform customers of complementary services that you offer
  • modify the subscription pricing on-the-fly
  • support the use of discount codes and other customer incentives
